Client: Waverley Council
At the far end of North Bondi next to the small pool, the wall has undergone a series of mural paintings over the years. However the most recent, a huge set of eyeballs were painted without authorisation or anyone knowing.
Waverley Council felt it was time for a face lift and commissioned artist Mulga to create a new mural for the space. As that pool is generally used by children, Mulga chose vibrant colours with a youthful vibe as well as ensuring it reflected the Bondi culture.
Painted over four days, we captured the process using timelapse cameras and created a series of videos showing the mural come to life.
