Ninja Milk are happy to announce that our entry into the SBS ‘Join In’ campaign was judged as a winning entry!
As part of SBS Australia’s ‘Join In’ campaign, Genero.tv put the call out to Australia film-makers to create a 60-second promo spot exploring multiculturalism in Australia.
Winning promos would be used to promote the campaign online and during SBS programming.
Our 60-second TV spot titled, ‘This Is Our Home’ was filmed at various locations across greater-Sydney in a day, interviewing people from different areas about their take on Australia as home. Due to tight turnaround on the promo, our creative process involved refining our initial concept of lifestyle portraits of people from different communities, to using houses as visual representations of the people we interviewed. We found the houses in Sydney and Western Sydney are as diverse as the people who live in those houses.
